DESCRIPTION:Meet n Greet BBQ changed to August 8th\nHello All\,\nI am the board liaison to the Social Committee. In our last meeting we discussed that we are needing to make some changes to some of the events we had previously scheduled.  Our annual Meet and Greet BBQ had been scheduled for June 27th. Due to a lack of available volunteers for that date\, we have decided to move the event to Saturday August 8th\, 2026. This traditionally has been our largest attended event\, and needs a large number of volunteers to manage all the tasks. If you are able to assist in hosting this event\, please let the office know. We are hopeful that the additional time will allow us to find enough assistance to continue to provide this excellent event.   \nKaren Moorhead  Social Committee liaison

DESCRIPTION:Meet n Greet BBQ  August 8th\nHello All\,\nOur annual Meet & Greet is scheduled for Friday\, August 8\, from 4:00–7:00 p.m.\nIn past years\, this event has been a fully hosted BBQ organized by the Social Committee and attended by around 100 members. However\, with several committee members stepping down and no new volunteers joining\, we simply don’t have enough people to handle the shopping\, food preparation\, setup\, serving\, and cleanup required for a traditional BBQ. \nRather than cancel the event\, we’ve come up with a Plan B—a community potluck! We hope you’ll join us for an enjoyable evening of good food and great conversation. \nWhat to Bring:\nTo help ensure a nice variety of dishes\, please bring an item based on the first letter of your last name: \n\nA–I: Main dish\nJ–R: Salad or side dish\nS–Z: Dessert\n\nThe Social Committee will provide: \n\nTables and chairs\nTwo BBQ grills heated and ready if you’d like to cook your own food\nWater and soda\nPlates\, utensils\, napkins\, and serving supplies\n\nYou’re also welcome to bring your own favorite beverage. \nPlease RSVP by July 15.\nTo make the event worthwhile\, we need at least 30 attendees.
